About Us:

Ruth Pregnancy Crisis Centre is staffed by trained, supervised volunteers and funded through donations by the public and churches. It forms part of a national non-racial networking body called Africa Cares for life; offering caring services to men, women and children in South Africa.

Most pregnant women who experience their pregnancy as traumatic, panic, are angry, afraid, depressed and very lonely. We reach out in love and compassion to them.

We at Ruth want to make sure that women facing an unwanted pregnancy, do not make a rushed decision while they are still in shock or panicking. We will give them balanced, non-manipulative information placing equal value towards mother and baby. We also render post-abortion counselling, and help those women who have undergone the trauma of an abortion or who have suffered a miscarriage.

  • Post-abortion counselling if you have undergone an abortion or have suffered a miscarriage
  • Supply maternity clothes
  
  • Supply baby clothing and equipment if you plan to keep your baby
